Excellent review, although a bit dated. It is now November 2009.
Is there a plan to update the information before the annual American credit fest (holiday season)?

Thanks

Actually, ALso, my new BofA card has a BT fee cap at $75 on my 0% rate. It's my first card w/ them.

Where's the details about the ridiculous balance transfer transaction fees that all of these and other major credit card companies impose on 0% or low-rate balance transfers. Capital One, Discover Card, Bank of America, Citibank and Chase credit cards all have 3% BT transaction fees (no max for new applications). It is more rare to see a card with a max of 99 for 0% BT (American Express has those).

Why so much detail on credit cards? You are a strong and detailed writer - why not address some of the more interesting personal finance themes - asset allocation post crash, economics of blog writing, new credit score models to be released in 2009 etc?

Unless someone has a real credit card fetish, posts like this are just TMI - too much information!
