"...it's worth mentioning that Bankrate has issued a fairly respectable assessment and Safe and Sound review of Wilmington Trust. Currently, Bankrate rates Wilmington Trust as exhibiting a generally satisfactory condition..."
This statement is misleading because Bankrate actually states that WT Direct has a below par rating of only two stars. From my experience in grade school, in a five star system, three stars is satisfactory, and two stars is sub par.

Chris,
Not much I can do to console you....interest rates are not all that great right now. All we can do at this point is to continue seeking out the best high yield interest rate offers available whenever they come up. Banks are always looking to dangle tasty interest rate carrots to snag new bank savings account customers.

Frustrated that these interest rates continue to drop. I have an WT Direct savings account but not sure if I am going to keep these in my online bank account any longer. But then again I don't have too many options out there. What happened to past high yield savings account rates? They really suck right now! Even the so-called best high interest savings accounts are nothing too impressive. A sign of the times I guess
