Very interesting post. I have been asked to loan a friend come money for some home improvements and am considering opening a self-directed IRA with , www.getmyra.com, and use my retirement account to loan the funds to the friend. I love the chance to use my IRA for something that could help a close personal friend of mine and yet benefit my retirement plan.
