Super post
I know how profitable gold investing can be. My brother made really good money doing just that, and myself I am making good money investing in gold.
I recommend to anyone who's thinking of starting to invest in gold to read a book or two on this topic, as there so many mistakes and blunders that are possible to make when you first start in this industry.
Thanks for sharing this with your readers.

Good article. To point 4 "Stocks Of Gold Mining Operations", I would add that a consideration to note is whether the company you are investing in is hedged against gold or not. For example, if Barrick has forward contracts that hedge upside then any upward bullion price movement is not reflected in the stock.

It's certainly not without some risk to buy gold and invest in gold assets, but I don't think we are even close to what gold prices were in the late 1970's and early 1980's after adjusting for inflation.
Gold newbies can always invest in easier to understand gold funds and gold-related companies!

Isn't gold at an all-time high now? This is perhaps not the best time to enter into the gold market ...
I do not know enough about the commodities market or about gold and industries driven by gold to invest comfortably. I may never know enough. But thanks for the info! :)
