Hi Pharmacist,

What survey websites are you using to complete the surveys? I am a pharmacist too and I am looking for such a website for paid surveys.

Thanks

Absolutely fantastic post. You hit the nail right on the with this post. I see too many people come into this industry think its going to happen overnight. Its systemic in the approach if they really think about it. They must grow themselves, discover the solutions to their problems and in their will be able to solve the problems of others. Only through dedicating their time to learn through the various mediums you noted above will they gain this knowledge.

I have been taking surveys from one Healthcare forum. It is technical, not technological, and I usually get paid $150-250 per survey. Since it is only one forum, the number of surveys are unpredictable. A couple months ago, there were a series of them within a week. This week I got another one.

The 4 or 5 I did in September is now paying. I got a check on Wednesday for $200. Today, Saturday, I got one for $150 and another for $200. I am expecting two more next week or there about.

I am not saying that anyone could complete one of these surveys but there are specialized surveys out there requiring expertise. There are also ligitimate non-expertise surveys. Sign up for as many as you can and do the surveys that interest you the most.

Today, I signed on to a couple more sites sent to me. These are also technical. I am a pharmacist so my professional opinions are sought for whatever purpose. If I have time, I could do more.

Good luck.

There's a quite bad thing on these paid surveys. Some of them don't allow brazilian people to take their surveys, and I like filling up them and I'd like to get some extra money since I'm unemployed.
Don't you know some that allow brazilian people to take their surveys, some reliable ones?

Annette,

It's hard to say. You never really know what the paid online survey companies are looking for at any particular time. Usually when you get a paid survey inquiry, you'll be asked to follow a link to a designated webpage where you'll be queried on a series of quick qualifying questions. Oftentimes, you won't know if you've qualified or been disqualified from the paid survey in question until the end of those questions. And even then, you aren't told which factor disqualified you - whether it was your age, sex, exposure/experience with certain consumer products, or level of education etc.

However, for the health related surveys, I think your age shouldn't preclude you from the most lucrative $20-50 surveys. That age is probably the target range for users of those types of consumer products anyway and the survey firms will likely want your opinion. But your age may preclude you from other types of consumer product based surveys that usually target younger demographics of the age 30-50 range.

I am 60 years old and have diabetes, take insulin and have high blood pressure and take medications for that. My question is: will I make more money using my real age and health problems or more money by "fudging" my age and getting a broader range of surveys?

No one should EVER pay for these survey programs. There are plenty of free paid online survey websites everywhere on the web. They're not always easy to find, but they are out there. Watch out for scams...scams are everywhere on the Internet...trying to get their grubby hands on your money. Never give out your social security number or personal information to random survey sites that smell fishy. The free online surveys above seem ok and are ones I've used myself...at the very least I've used Mysurvy and SurveySavvy

Raymond:
thanks for all of the info you shared with us, very helpful and appreciated!

I’ve been taking surveys and working from home for some time now. If you are new to surveys then one of the important things to understand is that filling out surveys will create a side income for you - you can't compare it with a salary. Depending on the number of surveys you do each month, your earnings can be anywhere from $150-$200 a month initially. Of course, apart from the cash that you earn, you will also get several free products as well.

There are so many work at home scams out there. I just spent an hour or two searching for a list of non scam survey sites that allow a stay at home mother like myself to make money online with paid surveys. Like Mark says, I'm also not looking to get rich (although I can't really quit my day job since I'm a stay at home wife anyhow). However I want to take advantage of these free survey companies and make money on the side. Anything more than $200-500 per month would be great for me if I could really make that much a month. I live in the midwest where families seems to enjoy cheaper cost of living than those of you on the easy or west coasts.

I'll try out the list of paid online survey sites you recommended. There are also a few other ones I've seen like Cash Crate etc. Is CashCrate and some of the other ones I've seen scams? I'm just so skeptical these days since I've been duped by too many online scammers when it comes to these things. Oftentimes the scam survey sites will ask you for upfront money and offer you the chance to get frequent and daily access to great high paying surveys once you've paid up the fee. But once you pay the fee, they disappoint you with useless surveys at low volume that you could get for free anywhere else.

Also, is it really possible to make money from these survey sites and are they really free? I'm so intrigued by the medical and health care paid surveys that I've heard about that pay out $20 or more for each! My girlfriend had filled one out and even undergone some type of online interview with the health care company for the survey so I'm very interested in those. I have a host of health ailments so I know I can easily qualify for a few! Hehe

They take a long time to fill out but you can perform those paid online surveys from your home, so the hassle isn't too bad.

Thanks for the info. Would you say this is among the best options for someone trying to earn money 2 to 3 hours every evening at home after work? I'm not expecting riches or to quit my day job, but I need an additional suplemental monthly income of $500 to $1000. Any advice?

Lynn,

No, there is no obligation to fill out every single paid online survey that the survey companies send to you. In fact, I would highly encourage you to be selective. Time is money and you should look at it this way - you only have a limited amount of precious time in your day to earn money. You might as well select paid surveys that offer the highest potential payout for the least amount of comparative effort. Some survey takers I know who enjoy making money online with these offers stick exclusively to the lucrative ones - the $10, $15, $20 health related surveys.

Some of the more aggressive survey companies will send you potential survey offers quite frequently if you authorize them to do so but it's completely up to whether you want to fill them out or not. Just remember that you don't get paid unless you actually fill one out.

Also, a few companies will de-activate your paid survey taking account if you don't complete at least 1 survey within a certain amount of time - however that time is usually around 3 months to a year.
