Craiglist can be a bit risky. I think buying directly from credible websites can be a better option. Or check on ebay.

Just be judicious enough in your purchases.

I generally have shopping preference in this order…although price frequently trumps:

1. Online store with its own website
2. eBay
3. Brick and mortar store
4. Craigslist

Great Tips, I have never tried Craigs List and my concerns are the same as yours. It seems with eBay you have more recources if something goes wrong.
