What are some companies that are generous with their coupons and rebates? I'm strapped on cash right now, and it would be really helpful to know.

Yup...I don't just ask once sometimes. There are a few companies that are super generous with coupons, so I ask them regularly and periodically, like every 3 weeks and they always oblige.

My wife used to work in political campaigns and the maxim was, if you want money you have to ask for it. That definitely applies to getting what you want from companies. A manufacturer not smart enough to give you coupns when you ask for one doesn't deserve your business. Don't stop with grocery items, I've had luck asking for coupons and rebates for tools, fans, and car care products.
