I received an offer of a Washington Mutual credit card (MC) with 0% interest on balance transfers for the life of the account with no balance transfer fee. I jumped on the offer, applied indicating the accounts and amounts I wanted transfered. Several weeks later, I received a credit card, but the balance transfer didn’t come through. I called and was told that the rate on balance transfers was 3.99%. I protested, saying that I’d been offered 0% for the life of the account. I was asked if I had the original offer; of course I hadn’t saved that. Have you heard of this offer? Any suggestions?
